If you want to connect to the startup and tech community in the Lafayette region, start by attending a Verge Lafayette/West Lafayette Meetup. A typical meetup draws 50 people from Purdue University and the surrounding community. Each meetups feature two 5-minute pitches from businesses and a fireside chat with a more experienced entrepreneur.
Verge can help individuals make connections to resources including people and businesses that they need to move their business forward. An important part of each meetup is networking which provides time to talk, connect and learn.
Although the group is tech and startup focused, anyone is welcomed to attend and get involved. The meetups will kickoff on September 4 at MatchBOX and will meet on the first Thursday of every month in various locations throughout the area.
