The purpose of the Launch Fishers High School Fellowship is to discover and develop future entrepreneurs. After applying and being selected for consideration by the host companies, students participate in a two day Entrepreneurial Bootcamp hosted by Launch Fishers. At the conclusion of bootcamp, students interview for a chance for an 8-week paid summer internship with host companies.
Five positions are available. See the flyers below for important dates and details.
Students must be a resident of Fishers, attend either Hamilton Southeastern High School or Fishers High School, and be currently enrolled as a high school student (freshman to graduating senior).
Applications for the 2023 Program have CLOSED! The deadline to apply was Friday May 12th at 11:59pm.
Yes. We restructured the program for this summer to put a greater emphasis on project-based learning opportunities and creating a stronger cohort-style experience. With a smaller number of internships, we can sharply focus our efforts on ensuring interns get top-notch, quality outcomes.
In addition, we also changed our Bootcamp Week and Interview Day. Bootcamp is now two days (Tuesday May 30th and Wednesday May 31st). Interviews are scheduled for 20 minutes and students will interview only with the companies who selected them for consideration for the program.
Here’s the breakdown:
There will be a total of five (5) internships available for students.
Interns will be paid $15/hour. Each internship can run for a total of 160 hours over 8 weeks. That breaks down to approximately 20 hours per week, but most companies are flexible with schedules to accommodate vacations/other activities.
All applications must be submitted by no later than Friday May 12 at 11:59PM. Students will be notified about program acceptance by Friday May 19th.
