Job Description

TITLE: Program Director, Launch Fishers

REPORTS TO: David Bolling, Executive Director

STATUS: Full Time, in person at Launch Fishers

 

Position Overview

The Program Director is a senior leadership role responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing the programs and services aligned with the mission of Launch Fishers. This person will ensure that programs achieve measurable outcomes and adhere to Launch Fishers values and strategic goals. The Program Director will work closely with staff, members, sponsors, partners and community stakeholders to deliver impactful programs.

 

Program Development and Management

  • Plan, develop, and implement programs that align with the mission and strategic plan of Launch Fishers (example: Learn At Launch series)
  • Ensure programs meet quality standards, are member-centered, and address the entrepreneurial community needs effectively
  • Regularly evaluate program effectiveness through data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Stay informed about technology trends, Indiana ESO (entrepreneurial support organizations) activities and best practices to ensure innovative and effective programming and events

 

Budget and Resource Management

  • Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with leadership team
  • Oversee grant proposals and funding applications to secure resources for program delivery
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and prepare regular reports as needed

 

Partnership and Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and funders
  • Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and partnerships
  • Advocate for the organization’s mission and programs within the community
  • Engage with current and potential members regarding program development and participation

 

Organizational Leadership

  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in program management with a proven track record of program development, team participation, and community engagement
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
    • Budget management and grant experience a plus
    • Proficiency in program development, evaluation, and outcomes measurement
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders
