14 Jul Launch Fishers To Celebrate its 10th Anniversary
(FISHERS, IN, July 14) — Launch Fishers announced today their plans to celebrate the coworking space’s 10th anniversary by hosting a celebratory reception at their facility on Thursday, August 18. Launch Fishers members, the organization’s sponsors and partners, and the Fishers business community are invited to attend this free event.
Doors will open at 5:00pm and attendees will enjoy appetizers, drinks, and networking ahead of a stage presentation at 6:00pm. Speakers will include Gerry Dick of Inside INdiana Business, Fishers’ Mayor Scott Fadness, and John Wechsler, Launch Fishers’ previous CEO and the organization’s founder. Attendees will get a glimpse at the history of Launch Fishers as the story unfolds through memorabilia and photo spreads shared throughout the event space.
Launch Fishers’ Executive Director, David Bolling said, “This is a significant milestone for our organization. One that has been reached with the daily support of our members, active sponsors and guidance from our Board including Mayor Fadness. The last ten years have allowed the Launch Fishers team an opportunity to connect with so many talented entrepreneurs and assist them in different stages of development. I am confident that our Launch Fishers community and the broader Fishers’ community will see second generation startup activity from our first decade in the years ahead.”

When it opened its doors in late 2012, Launch Fishers was located in the basement of the Hamilton East Public Library with a floor plan of approximately 16,000 square feet. In early 2016, the organization moved to its current location, a renovated, former call center located at 12175 Visionary Way. The 52,000 square foot facility sports 20 rentable office suites/spaces, 9 meeting rooms, a coffee shop, a multi-purpose event space seating up to 150 people, and a large open work area for members.
Over the past decade, the member community of Launch Fishers has continued to grow and expand. At its peak, membership topped 600 individuals which represented over 250 unique companies and organizations. Many companies have grown out and expanded from the Launch Fishers community, including such notable successes as Recovery Force, Iconic Digital Agency, PactSafe, Six Feet Up, and Agency360. Today, Launch Fishers serves as a home-base to businesses of all sizes, from solo entrepreneurs to companies with over 60 employees. When you enter the building, logos of Launch Fishers’ member companies adorn the walls, a showcase of the space’s diverse and growing community.
The impact of Launch Fishers spread beyond the boundaries of Fishers in 2014 with the creation of the Indiana Coworking Passport, a statewide network of coworking spaces working together to better the startup environment for entrepreneurs everywhere. Through the passport, members of one partner location can access work space at other locations as they travel throughout Indiana to grow their businesses.
