Forging a New Partnership: Plug and Play Indiana + Launch Fishers

During his annual State of the City address last month, Mayor Scott Fadness revealed an exciting bit of entrepreneurship news for Fishers: Plug and Play Indiana has partnered with Launch Fishers!

So what exactly does this mean for Launch Fishers members, for Fishers, and for the greater entrepreneurial ecosystem of Indiana?

Plug and Play is the world’s leading innovation platform with the mission of “driving innovation by connecting entrepreneurs, corporations, and investors worldwide.” Headquartered in Silicon Valley and operating in more than 60 locations across five continents, the organization does just that through providing expert guidance, programming, investment opportunities, and more. Since their founding, Plug and Play has benefitted over 90,000 startups in more than 25 different industries. And they are not slowing down anytime soon.

In early 2024, Plug and Play Indiana made its home just two hours north in Warsaw, which is known as the “Orthopedic Capital of the World” due to the city’s high concentration of medical device manufacturing and research institutions. With that local hub of activity, Plug and Play Indiana has naturally focused heavily on medtech startups, in areas such as advanced early detection & diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, and many more.

As they expand their reach into Fishers through this exciting new partnership, Plug and Play Indiana will have an in-person presence at Launch Fishers with a dedicated office and staff in Suite 103. And beyond a physical presence, this partnership will bring programming and events to the community that will supercharge our local startups.

“Plug and Play is thrilled to partner with Launch Fishers and support the next generation of innovative startups in Indiana. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to cultivate thriving ecosystems across the state, connecting entrepreneurs with the resources and mentorship they need to succeed on a global scale.” — Brandon Noll, Director of Plug and Play Indiana

As Plug and Play continues to expand its reach and activities, so too will Launch Fishers grow with access to the firm’s resources for growing companies. Events – such as corporate reverse pitches, workshops, mentor sessions, monthly and weekly networking roundtable discussions, and panels – will begin to fill the calendar and be open for LF members to attend. Members will also gain access to the company’s innovative Playbook platform in addition to Dealflow Sessions that the two teams will coordinate.

Our new corporate partnership with Plug And Play will provide our Launch Fishers members access to regional, national and global innovation that we have not seen before. This partnership will also allow us to grow our fundamental activities such as workshops and mentor sessions, weekly and monthly networking roundtable discussions and corporate reverse pitch events. We are excited to grow our Fishers entrepreneurial community with Plug And Play.” — David Bolling, Executive Director of Launch Fishers

The future of entrepreneurship in Fishers continues to be bright, and with this new partnership, founders and startups will have even greater access to exciting opportunities!
