A few observations as we roll right on by our hundredth day open at Launch Fishers.

Several months of planning and construction preceded our opening and we started accepting memberships in September. We “soft launched” in October with the few brave souls interested in joining us.  Our opening day was November first with Venture Club of Indiana’s “State of Venture Capital” event featuring Navidar. We followed that up with a sold out Verge event later that month.

Our grand opening was November 29th, in conjunction with the tree lighting and holiday season kickoff with the Town of Fishers.

We saw our hundredth member join in January, it’s Brian Norris of Social Health Insights. Lots of other amazing companies have joined us along the way (we are starting a profile series soon to share all of them with you).

We continue to add services for our members like our mail service that gets a member a mailbox and a physical mailing address for less than the cost of a UPS Store box (plus a cool address on “Launch Way” in Fishers).  We also have a great multi-function machine coming (thanks to Braden Business Systems) that will give members the print/copy/fax/scan capability at way less than the costs at a FedEx Kinkos or even what they can do with their own ink jet or laser device.

All said, we are constantly looking for ways to make Launch Fishers the pre-eminent place for launching high-potential enterprises.  And if you haven’t been through our doors yet, please make plans to join us for a day — on us. Contact us for a day pass or to offer your comments or questions.
