Everywhere we go we see and hear marketing for products, services, and companies. Multiple media channels are used to reach the masses throughout the day. On our drive to work we hear the pitch for the latest and greatest gadget, or the SUPER SAVINGS at a used car dealership. We see billboards for lawyers and cows saying “EAT MOR CHIKIN!” But one of the most effective ways media is used to reach people is through video, which engages the consumer both audibly and visually, connecting people with what they want to what they see and hear. It truly is marketing at its’ finest.
Think about the last time you ate out. The restaurant had pages of written items for you to choose from, but odds are you got something from the menu that had a picture or that you saw (and smelled!) going to a table nearby. You may have also noticed that the cheaper items don’t have a picture. It’s all about marketing!
